MAN Energy Solutions win Intranet and Digital Workplace Award with new Omnia-based solutions
Thanks to focusing on user experience, using Champions to drive adoption, and implementing a new governance model, the results of the new intranet launched within MAN Energy Solutions are well beyond expectations. Now, the Germany-based corporation has been awarded for its successful work in implementing a new intranet.
For 16 years, vendor-neutral digital workplace experts Step Two has been handing out the Intranet and Digital Workplace Awards. When the winners of the 2022 awards were announced in August, MAN Energy Solutions and their intranet #CULive won the gold medal in the Digital Employee Experience category.
The solution, based on Microsoft 365 and Omnia, was recognized for high-value concepts like the Employee Hub, enterprise search, an innovative content dashboard, and collaboration tools. But MAN Energy Solutions also received much praise for the implementation methodology with strong commitment to user research, journey mapping, learning resources, and using internal champions for driving adoption. The work carried out to reduce content, a structured mix of global and local content, and a new governance model was also mentioned when describing the strong case of #CULive.
