2025 has been a defining year. We expanded the product, strengthened our Customer Success Program, and welcomed a wave of new organisations to the platform. 

We were recognised as a top-rated intranet product for the eighth consecutive year by ClearBox, and we entered the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Intranet Packaged Solutions for the first time, where we were named a Challenger. 

We also brought together hundreds of digital workplace leaders at the Omnia Conference, launched the first Intranet Impact Awards, and saw customers deliver measurable improvements across communication, engagement, and operational excellence. This wrap-up brings together the highlights, the biggest releases, and the stories that shaped the year.

Your Standout Product Updates 

This year we delivered two major updates to Omnia. Both focused on making the intranet easier to use, easier to manage, and more effective as a communication and productivity tool. We also strengthened our AI capabilities for teams that are becoming more AI-fluent and want to do more with their intranet. 

Here are your top six new product capabilities from 2025.

Semantic & Hybrid Search

We expanded enterprise search with semantic understanding and hybrid retrieval to deliver more accurate, context-aware results. Administrators can define trusted repositories for indexing, ensuring AI agents and search results draw information only from verified sources. These capabilities can also be used as Copilot plugins for specialised use cases. 

Copilot Apps & AI Agents  

Omnia now supports generating Copilot apps tied to defined intranet content scopes. Users can interact with verified information through conversational AI, reducing search time and simplifying task execution. Administrators can configure domain-specific agents (e.g., HR, travel, IT support) to ensure employees receive accurate, trusted guidance.  

Interaction Metrics

Interaction Analytics now track not only page and content engagement, but also form submissions, sign-off completions, and task participation. This gives organisations a clearer picture of how employees engage with operational workflows, helping intranet teams optimise processes and demonstrate measurable business impact. 

New Mobile App Experience 

The redesigned mobile app introduces a modern, consumer-grade interface with: A personalized feed Unified tasks & notifications Connectors to business systems Personal stories & updates Peer-to-peer chat This upgrade strengthens engagement and makes the intranet a practical daily tool for frontline and mobile workers.

Integrations Hub 

The Integrations Hub provides low-code connections to business systems through webhooks. With more than 20 templates for tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Workday, and SuccessFactors, organisations can surface tasks, data, and events directly inside Omnia and act on them without switching systems. This reduces custom development and brings operational workflows directly into the intranet experience.  

Accessibility Checker 

Omnia now includes a built-in accessibility checker that evaluates pages against WCAG standards. Editors can instantly see which elements are compliant, which need attention, and which must be corrected. Accessibility mode can be previewed and activated platform-wide, helping teams deliver inclusive content and prepare for incoming requirements such as the EU Accessibility Act.

Stories Across industries, organisations used Omnia to strengthen communication, simplify daily work, and improve intranet governance. These customer stories stood out this year:

Your Favourite Events of 2025 

2025 was the year we went beyond the screen. From major industry stages to local meet-ups, each event gave us clearer insights into how organisations work, communicate, and grow with Omnia.  

Omnia Conference  

Our biggest gathering of the year brought hundreds of digital workplace leaders to Stockholm. With the theme “From Insights to Impact”, the sessions focused on communication strategy, frontline enablement, governance, and real examples of measurable intranet results. Customers shared their journeys, and our Product and Customer Success teams walked through what’s next in Omnia. 

Intranet Impact Awards 

The highlight of the conference was the launch of the first Intranet Impact Awards. The finalists shared outcomes across communication, engagement, and operations, and Duni Group (the winner) reflected the same principle that drives our Customer Success Program: impact matters more than output.   

Gartner Digital Workplace Summit, London 

We also met with organisations at the Gartner Digital Workplace Summit, where conversations centred on AI, governance, and the role of intranets in large-scale digital workplace strategies. It was a milestone moment in a year where Omnia entered the Gartner Magic Quadrant for the first time.  These events gave us clearer insights into what customers need today and where the digital workplace is headed next.

What's Next?

2025 set a strong foundation. In 2026, we're continuing to build on AI capabilities, strengthen our Customer Success Program, and deliver product updates that make daily work easier and more effective. 

New 7.X versions of Omnia is already in development, with new features focused on governance, accessibility, and data-driven improvements. 

We're also bringing the community together in new ways. Beyond product releases, 2026 will bring more chances to connect, learn, and share what's working.

We're planning regional events, customer meet-ups, and hands-on workshops throughout the year. And you’ll have the opportunity to meet us at the Gartner Digital Workplace Summit in London (April 27–28) and the San Diego, US (March 23–24) 

If this year taught us anything, it's that the best insights come from real conversations with the people using the platform every day.
