Omnia and LiveTiles Unite to Form a Stronger Future
In June, we announced a major milestone: Former competitors Omnia and LiveTiles are merging into one powerful entity - Omnia Digital Workplace AB with headquarters in Sweden.
With this merger, our combined workforce has more than doubled, with over 160 employees across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. Together, we are significantly stronger, particularly in the areas of customer support, customer success, and product development.
We have already begun integrating our product portfolios - and the forward product brand will be Omnia.
Our future intranet product will be based on Omnia’s robust infrastructure. We are presently working to include all capabilities of the current LiveTiles Intranet product into the Omnia platform. This also includes the innovative LiveTiles Reach (Employee app) and the Everywhere Widget (AI).
Going forward, all features in the joint product will be delivered and managed through the Omnia administration console. Our first joint product release is scheduled for Q4 this year, with continued development planned into Q1-Q2 next year.
The powerful product Directory product from the LiveTiles portfolio will continue to be a separate offering, and will not be delivered as part of the joint intranet product.
For LiveTiles customers this merger has many positives, starting with strong financial backing from our owners – and a solid long-term strategy for supporting customer solutions going forward.
There will be clear upgrade paths for all previous LiveTiles products, and skilled resources to support you in making the best possible use of the new capabilities. We are making serious investments in providing smooth upgrade paths to the forward platform, with hands-on work planned to start early in 2025. For customers who do not wish to upgrade their solutions, there will be long-term future support of the current products.
As we bring together the strengths of Omnia and LiveTiles, two leaders in the intranet market, our focus remains on delivering tangible results for our customers and fulfilling our shared vision.
