LATEST NEWS
AI and Search
We will provide more ways to use AI in your daily work, from finding information to creating and managing content. We are also making it easier for administrators to manage AI providers, monitor usage and control which pages and documents are included in semantic search.
Omnia Agents and reusable Skills are also being explored as a way to provide focused assistance for common questions and tasks.
Web Content Management
Editors working with multilingual content will get a clearer way to see what has changed on the default page and what may need to be updated in each variation. Other improvements will make unpublished content easier to recognise and provide more flexibility when creating layouts for publishing applications.
Blocks
We are making several blocks easier to configure and adapt to different page designs. This includes more control over the size of Activity Hub feeds and chats, along with more consistent styling options for FAQ and accordion content.
Activity Hub
Activity Hub is a new experience that brings communication, conversations and employee activity together in one place. Employees will be able to follow a personalised feed, read and respond to content, receive chat notifications and keep track of conversations.
Communication teams will get a clearer view of whether employees have seen, opened, read or acknowledged important content. Pages created with Content Builder will display properly in Activity Hub on both web and mobile, while stored chat messages will receive additional protection.
Mobile
Employees will get a more consistent experience across Omnia Feed and Activity Hub, including sign-in, updates and general navigation between the two experiences. Administrators will also find it easier to enable and manage Activity Hub for mobile users.
Event Management
Event organisers will be able to collect additional information from participants by adding their own questions to registration forms. We are also improving support for all-day and multi-day events, as well as events where participants can attend in person or through Microsoft Teams.
Governance
Organisations will have more options for sharing administrative responsibilities without giving users full tenant-administrator access. We are also strengthening the controls around AI providers, content access and permissions so that new AI capabilities can be introduced in a managed way.
